Dave Mihalic is a management consultant in planning, managing and advising both public and private entities in protecting some of the world’s most special places. He is an Expert Advisor for UNESCO’s International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) having fulfilled contracts on proposed and existing world heritage properties across North America, Europe and the Russian Federation. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Tourism Studies in the IU School of Public Health. He teaches Advanced Ecosystem Management in the Eppley Institute’s online graduate program.
